We just finished 4 weeks of In Home Manners and it was excellent! Our kids, ages 3, 6 and 9, also were involved with training Brandy. The kids love the training games and what a difference it makes in their relationship with Brandy.

Because of our work schedules, Shar was great with setting up the training when we were available on the weekends.

Classes were the most fun I have ever had training a dog. The clicker training had instant results.
Lana A, River Falls

Clicker training was new to me and I was amazed at how fast Josey caught on!

Marny was a horrible puppy with chasing and biting but within a few weeks she learned to control herself. Hurray, now she chews on her toys and not us.

There are literally thousands of dog trainers offering their services; some are good, some...not so good. My own complicated experience with a trainer of the "not so good" variety rendered my dog newly fearful, insecure, confused and unfocussed. Erin came to our rescue immediately, and with tremendous compassion for my traumatized dog's plight. The steps and suggestions Erin offered for rebuilding my dog's confidence are working by leaps and bounds - as are those for gradually eliminating problematic behaviors he developed as a result our bad experiences. All presented with such clarity that even I, as upset and frazzled as the situation had rendered me, couldn't mess them up. Less than six weeks after seeking Erin's counsel, my dog had recovered to such an extent that he passed his Canine Good Citizen Evaluation with flying colors.

Hi, I recently asked Erin McKee if she would assist with one of our rescue dogs, (Take the Lead Rescue), who is fostered with the intent of adoption. Zoey, the redbone coonhound/x is a handful! Erin helped the young man with all his questions, watched many of Zoey's behaviors and showed him how to overcome the ones that were unacceptable. She was very attentive, listened and was extremely helpful. The foster was impressed and also relieved and appreciated Erin's help. He saw instant improvement in Zoey with some of Erin's techniques and had the information to continue with behaviors that needed more attention. He has incorporated many of Erin's suggestions already and has seen a great improvement with Zoey. I would ask Erin again, if needed, because of her ability to listen and knowing how to help the person and the dog. Erin uses positive techniques for training and that is appreciated.
Thanks, Leana Wallin, Take the Lead Rescue
